Ruida controllers are co2 laser-cutting machine controller boards with several more powerful features. They are built for lasers and run download and execution programs. They are supported locally by RDWorks (free) and by Lightburn. They have a control panel that frequently displays the programs to be run and performs point-and-click operations. Many reverse engineering and support operations have been performed.
The Ruida controller can control 4 axes. They are X, Y, Z, and U.
The Ruida controller is based on a DSP chip. It is ahead of the Gcode controller in terms of functionality. The co2 Laser Dsp controller can engrave faster, has built-in overscan adjustment, can run headless, and can communicate via Ethernet or USB
